Timber Greenhouse in Farrow & Ball Paint

Painted in a natural green colour, this 1.8 x 2.4m Victoria Greenhouse has been installed in a corner of our customer’s garden in Macclesfield, Cheshire to enable them to grow tomatoes, peppers, chillies, and other produce they wouldn’t be able to grow effectively outside in their plant bed.

Green Smoke is the paint colour the customer chose, which is one of the colours in Farrow & Ball’s exterior paint range. This paint offers an opaque coverage with a long re-decoration cycle, in a range of 12 natural colours.

All of our Garden Buildings, including our Greenhouses are made from FSC® Certified Scandinavian Redwood, as are all our buildings, and this customer chose to have two slatted benches fitted inside to keep their growing pots in the sunlight.

The roof of our Greenhouses has a steep pitch to allow light to transmit through the glass more effectively. There are vents in the roof too, one on each side: these vents are temperature controlled, and open automatically when they reach a certain temperature to achieve optimum growth inside.
