As a chalet-style summerhouse, the Blakeney has a roof overhang over the front gable, fully glazed double doors, and four sets of windows in total, allowing plenty of light inside and altogether giving the look and feel of a beach hut.
This Blakeney is 2.4 x 2.4m in size in total, small enough to not be imposing on the customer’s modestly sized garden, and big enough to allow it to be furnished comfortably on the inside with enough room to maneuver.
Heavy-duty felt has been used on the roof, which is a non-rip, heat-bonded felt with a long life expectancy, and the summerhouse has been finished off in our Light Oak preservative to keep the timber protected from fungi and woodworm for around six months before it will need repainting again.
This is a simple summerhouse, as is the flexibility of the design of both our Blakeney and Morston Summerhouses: you can have them small, or big, simple or complex, so if you like the design, it is completely down to your requirements.
