To keep a chill off of the tools and items inside throughout the winter months, the customer opted to have oak faced ply lining on the walls and insulation in the walls and ceiling for extra warmth.
Heavy-duty felt has been used on the roof, which is a thick felt that is propane torched onto the roof for waterproof protection.
Due to the proximity of the fence to the shed, the customer would normally have needed to apply for Planning Permission; however, after asking us, he found out that we could lower the pitch of the roof to make the shed sit at 2.5m in height so that he didn’t need to go through this process.
To finish off the building, the customer chose to have a single Georgian window for a bit of traditional style, and the shed has been painted in our exterior paint system, in the colour, Lizard, which is a natural green colour to help blend in well with the garden.
