3.6 x 3.0m Weatherboard Clad Binham Studio painted in Exterior Slate

One of our beautiful Binham Studios has been installed for a customer based in Thatcham, Berkshire. Our customer wanted a year-round use building that they could use as a garden office so opted for our Binham Studio, which has desk height windows included as part of its design. Like all of our garden buildings, it was designed by our CAD engineers before being hand-crafted to order by skilled craftsmen inside our Norfolk factory. The garden studio was then delivered and installed at our customer’s address by members of our expert installations team, which is included as part of the service we provide our customers.

From 1.8 x 2.4m to 4.8 x 6.0m, our Binham Studio is available in a wide range of standard sizes and more tailored sizes on request too. This customer’s Binham Studio measures 3.6 x 3.0m. Our Binham has an apex roof design with a charming overhang that sits above the double doors in the gable. There is a single desk height window on either side of the doors and there is also a triple window set in the right-hand side of the building that contains two opening windows. All of the windows, including those in the doors, are made using toughened safety glass and they are also all double glazed. The roof has been covered in cedar shingles and the rustic-style weatherboard cladding has been painted in our Exterior Paint System shade, Slate.

As our Binham Studio is a year-round use building, its floor, ceiling, and walls are fully lined and insulated. Ivory painted matchboard lines the walls and a natural lacquer has been applied to the floor to give it a nice sheen while also protecting the timber. An electric pack with heater has also been installed to supply the garden studio with power, lighting, and heating.
