8 x 18ft Shared Garden Office

Made to order at Crane Garden Building’s Norfolk HQ, this 8 x 18ft Holkham Summerhouse was recently installed for a customer needing a dual garden office space with an internal partition to create two offices. Delivered and assembled by our friendly team of professional fitters, the summerhouse boasts an attractive, traditional design with a selection of added features. As with all of our luxury timber garden buildings, the summerhouse was made using FSC© Certified Scandinavian Redwood timber. Sourced from our partnering timber mill in Sweden, the wood is grown sustainably and slowly in colder climates which gives it increased density and hardiness.

Externally, this building features an apex roof covered with stunning cedar shingles and double doors. There are several opening windows that all feature a traditional leaded design, along with polished brass door furniture which adds a gentle, luxurious glimmer. Our customer opted for a standard finish of natural light oak on the exterior shiplap, which complements their garden beautifully. Alternatively, they could have opted for an opaque paint finish from our range of attractive paint options. 

Inside, the summerhouse has a range of convenient additional features in order to meet their needs. As they will be using the Holkham as a shared office, things like power, warmth and storage space were high priorities during the design stages. As a result, the office has a partitioned area with an internal access door, floor insulation and interior matchboard lining to finish off the walls. Our customers also opted to add an electrical pack which includes four double sockets, an external outdoor socket, LED spotlights and an 8-way consumer unit. This is essential for powering office equipment and also enables the building to be used for other purposes all year-round.
