4 x 6ft Storage Shed with Window Bars

Crafted at our Norfolk HQ, this luxury 4 x 6ft Superior Shed was recently installed for our customers who needed a storage shed with optimum security. Made using FSC© Certified timber, this attractive garden shed sports a durable composition of Scandinavian Redwood grown sustainably in Sweden by our partnering timber mill. Due to the colder climates and slow, steady growth, the timber sourced from these northern reaches is denser and therefore superior to other alternatives.

Externally, this luxury storage shed is equipped with a range of different features. It has an apex roof covered with our touched-on heavy-duty roofing felt, along with black guttering to ensure the best possible protection from the elements. Our customer opted for shiplap cladding sprayed with our high-quality opaque Crane Exterior paint in the shade of Taupe. There are several windows providing both light and ventilation, one is positioned in the single access door, while the other two are tucked neatly into the rear corner of the building. With safety in mind, our customers opted to add the security pack, which consists of 13mm window bars, stainless-steel security screws and a 7-lever security lock. Designed to provide added peace of mind, our security packs are a great addition for those who keep expensive tools and other equipment in their garden shed. All door furniture is also galvanised to protect it from rust, which will further the longevity and condition of the shed. Prior to the installation, our customer also used our building base service, which ensured that there was a flat, level surface for us to install their building on top of. This part of the process is crucial, as uneven, or inadequate bases can lead to your building ‘settling’ into the foundations, which can dramatically shorten its lifespan.

Inside, this attractive timber garden shed has a height of 2m, which means it’s tall enough to work inside without impeding on any views or prompting planning requirements. Our customers elected to add floor insulation and horizontal workshop lining, which will ensure that the shed maintains a comfortable temperature, and that anything stored inside is protected from colder temperatures. They also customised the layout of the shed to add a workbench, which will come in handy for various projects as well as the safe, out-of-sight storage for tools below it.
