8 x 10 Salthouse Studio with Pent Roof (Ref: 238)

This 8’ x 10’ Salthouse Studio with pent roof has been installed in our customer’s garden for use as a sewing room.

The customer has retired and wants to indulge in her sewing hobby, and so this Salthouse Studio will give her the room to do so, in a comfortable setting that she will be able to use all year round.

The front of the studio is made up of four full-length panes of glass, two of which make up the double doors in the middle, and then there is one more window on both sides of the door. To extend the customer’s field of vision, there is also one full-length window on each gable end of the studio, and on the right side, there is an opening fan light window that will be good for ventilation.

With this whole wall of glass, the customer will be able to arrange her desk so that she has a full view of her garden, which is always a calming sight, and then she’ll be able to arrange various storage areas around the walls.

There is Lizard paint on the external timber; this is a pale green colour that fits very well into grassy environments. In fact, all the colours in our exterior paint system are natural in tone so they all fit in well to garden environments, and since they are opaque, you won’t see the grain of the wood underneath, giving an even, smooth finish.

Inside the studio, there is natural matchboard lining, and as standard, there is also full insulation in the walls, ceiling and floor, there are draught excluders in the doors and windows and all the glass is double glazed.
