This 6’ x 8’ Superior Shed with Apex Roof was designed using the building configurator, and has been installed in our customer’s garden to be used as a potting shed.
This garden shed has got a single door with a window in it (Georgian in style) on the side, with a window next to it: there is also one window that opens, and that is on the gable end, which will be good to let some fresh air flow through the shed on warm summer days.
To help with the customer potting their plants, they opted for a workbench to be fitted inside the shed, which will create a much needed surface to work from.
The apex roof has been covered with Cedar Shingles, which is a type of tile that starts off as a warm terracotta colour, but changes colour to have silver flecks in it as it ages; it is a very pretty roofing material.
This shed has got shiplap cladding that has been coated in our light oak preservative, which will help protect the shed from the harshness of the British weather, and will help to enhance the natural beauty of the wood.
The customer also opted to have guttering fitted onto the shed, so they can have a water butt on the side and collect rain water if they wanted to.
