All of our garden buildings are built to order using only the finest quality materials and experienced craftsmen. Despite this however, entry points can create areas of weakness which can be exploited by thieves if unprotected.
It’s said that the average shed holds contents worth at least £350. However, the psychological impact and inconvenience of a shed being broken into can often outweigh the actual monetary value.
53% of households tend to overlook the contents contained within their sheds when purchasing home insurance. This means they can find themselves uninsured in the event of a break-in, especially if no security measurements are in place.
We have developed our own ‘Three-Tier’ security packs, available with our Superior Sheds and Timber Garages. These can help give you peace of mind and the best possible protection from unwanted visitors.
Sliding Bolt
A heavy duty, sliding bolt with a fully-encased seven lever, anti-pick, anti-crop lock is fitted to the door. Each lock has its own unique pair of keys.
Security Screws
We fit anti-tamper, non-returnable screws on the hinges, making them impossible to unscrew.
Integral Window Bars
We make each component for our windows and doors at our on-site joinery. We add 13mm (1/2 inch) stainless steel bars and then mortise them directly into the fabric of the window frame at set intervals during the manufacturing process.
If you would like to discuss the options for your own building, please do not hesitate to contact us. One of our team will be happy to discuss your requirements in greater depth.
