The customer is always working on projects for his house and garden, and this workshop will give him the necessary space to do so.
The workshop is 2.4 x 4.2m in size, with heavy duty felt on the roof, a single door in the gable end and four windows on the right-hand side. Heavy duty felt is a thick, durable material that gets torched onto the roof on site to make it waterproof.
The customer wanted to keep their new workshop as natural looking as possible, so we’ve treated it with our Light Oak preservative; this just gives the timber an invisible coat of protection and allows the natural colour of the wood to shine through still.
Inside the workshop, the customer opted to have a workbench fitted on the right underneath the windows. This will provide him with a long, sturdy work surface to use as storage and to work on his projects.
Because the customer will be keeping lots of heavy items inside the workshop, and he’ll be spending a lot of time inside, he also opted for heavy duty flooring, which will take the weight better than our standard flooring thickness.
To keep all of his items safe, the customer wanted a security pack as well; this security pack consists of a heavy duty bolt and a seven lever lock, security screws, and window bars.
If you are interested in having a workshop or a garden shed for storage, please have a look at our range of garden sheds. There are three different collections of sheds in our range; the Classic Shed, the Superior Shed and the National Trust Shed. All have their own merits depending on style preference and budget, but if one of these has taken your fancy, you can use our Online Garden Building Planner Tool to configure the building and receive a quote.
Alternatively, you can contact us or call us on 01760 444229 to talk about the type of shed you want, and we can help you from there.
