Blakeney Summerhouse with Roof Overhang

This wonderful, bright country garden in Eastbourne, East Sussex is the new home of this 3.0 x 2.4m Blakeney Summerhouse, and it is to be used by the customer as a traditional summer house, from which they can sit, relax and admire their garden on warm, summer days.

The Blakeney is a chalet-style summerhouse, very similar to a beach hut in design, with its apex roof, overhanging over the front gable, and fully glazed double doors and large windows to help fill the inside with natural light.

The apex roof has been covered in our heavy-duty, construction-grade felt that is heat-bonded onto the roof for extra durability, and it has a life expectancy of 12-15 years.

The external cladding is shiplap, which offers a smooth finish to the timber as the planks are slotted together, as opposed to our weatherboard cladding, which gives a more rustic finish. The summerhouse has been painted in our exterior paint system, in a natural green colour called Sage.

Our exterior paint system comes in a range of 14 colours that are natural in tone, allowing you to find the perfect colour that will allow your new building to blend in well with your garden.
