This is a 10’ x 10’ Weybourne Summerhouse, which we make to perfectly slot into corners to help with customers who have small or awkwardly shaped gardens to save on space.
The Weybourne is essentially a square building with the front corner cut off to fit the double doors in. On the two sides next to the doors there are double opening window sets to allow plenty of fresh air and natural light into the summerhouse. The windows are Georgian in style to add a traditional feel to the building, and they are all double glazed as well.
Cedar shingles have been used to tile the roof; the tiles we use are the highest grade of cedar and have a life expectancy of around 35 years. To match the rustic style of the cedar tiles, the external cladding is weatherboarded, which is more roughly cut than shiplap, and it has been finished in Valtti Lizard, a green colour from our Valtti colour range.
Internally, there is natural matchboard lining on the walls and full insulation, so along with the double glazing, the customer will be able to make full use of their summerhouse for most of the year, not just in the summer.
