6 x 10 Superior Shed with Apex Roof (Ref: 94)

This pretty looking 6’ x 10’ Superior Shed with apex roof has been installed in our customer’s garden for his wife to use as a potting shed.

The customer’s wife has recently retired and wants to take up gardening, and this garden shed is a retirement gift from her husband.

She was thrilled when she saw it, and is looking forward to many an hour potting, pruning, de-seeding and weeding in her garden and new potting shed. It has a single door on the front side, with two windows next to it, one of which opens, and on the right gable end, there is another window, offering the customer with a few vantage points to view her garden from.

There is heavy-duty felt on the roof of the shed, which will offer brilliant protection to the roof underneath as it gets torched onto the roof to make it waterproof, and it is a non-rip material.

The cladding on the shed is shiplap, which gives the timber planks a smooth appearance, as they are planed in the factory before they are slotted together to form this very clean finish. The customer then opted for Sage paint to coat the timber with this opaque coverage of water-based, rubberised paint that both look wonderful and offers brilliant protection to the timber.

Inside the shed, the customer opted for a small workbench to be placed underneath the two windows in the side. This will give the customer a good platform to work on, store her seeds and bulbs on and maybe even pop a kettle on to have a cuppa while she happily works in the garden.
