Relaxation Summerhouse in Cambridge
This stunning octagonal summerhouse was recently installed for a customer based in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. Selected from our range of bespoke luxury summerhouses, this 2.4 x 3.0 Wiveton takes its name from the quaint civil parish close to our Norfolk HQ. Intended for use as a summer relaxation room, the building was designed in-house before being handcrafted from FSC© certified Scandinavian Redwood timber, which is sourced sustainably from our partnering timber mill in Sweden. It was then carefully packaged and prepared for delivery, before being transported and installed by our professional fitting team.
Our second-most petite size of the Wiveton Summerhouse range, this beautiful garden building occupies a stunning spot at the bottom of our customer’s garden. It has an attractive hipped roof covered with slate composite tiles, twin summerhouse doors and five double-glazed windows that feature an attractive leaded design. As with all of our luxury garden buildings, our customers were able to select their favourite shade from our opaque paint system menu, and they opted for the tasteful Twine hue which gives the building's smooth shiplap cladding a timeless, clean look.
I just had to write to you to say how happy we are with our beautiful new Wiveton Summerhouse. I also wanted to let you know how courteous, polite and efficient your construction team were. Nothing was too much trouble, they wanted to be sure that I was happy in every way with the summerhouse. I believe their names were Scott and Lee and I would be most grateful if you could pass on my thanks and congratulations to them for how they dealt with the construction work, how tidily they worked and how they even explained about the windows, door locks etc. I also want you to know what fantastic ambassadors they are for your company.

Internally, the summerhouse is lined and insulated for year-round comfort and an attractive aesthetic. Our customer selected the Ivory shade to complement the matchboard lining and also opted for a lacquered floor so that they were able to enjoy their building immediately after installation. Finishing touches included the polished brass door and window hardware, which is also available in the more contemporary option of chrome. An idyllic retreat for those balmy summer days and long, light evenings, this charming octagonal summerhouse is sure to be enjoyed for many years to come.
